Privacy notice

This is a concise v1 privacy notice that explains how 4096Bytes handles information during website browsing, service discussions, and later onboarding steps.

Last updatedApril 10, 2026

Overview

The current 4096Bytes site is primarily a public marketing and information surface for service positioning, pricing context, and common questions. At this stage, simple browsing does not require registration or account submission.

We only process additional information when you choose to contact us, request access, or continue into an operational onboarding or support flow.

Information we may collect

At the website layer, we may see basic technical information such as request logs, browser type, access time, approximate region, and baseline performance signals used for uptime and troubleshooting.

If you reach out for support or onboarding, we may also handle the contact details, use-case notes, plan preferences, and related context that you voluntarily provide.

How we use that information

We use that information to keep the site available, understand service demand, coordinate manual support, explain plan boundaries, and follow up on billing, refund, or risk-control issues when needed.

Unless required for legal compliance or direct service delivery, we do not repurpose that information for unrelated marketing, and we do not use customer code for model training.

Third-party services

The website and later service workflows may rely on third-party infrastructure for hosting, identity, payments, messaging, or analytics. We only introduce those vendors when they are necessary to operate the site or deliver the service.

As more production workflows go live, we will extend this notice with clearer vendor-category detail and sharper service-boundary language.

Retention and security

We aim to retain only the information required to deliver support, satisfy risk-control needs, complete settlement, and operate the service responsibly.

For browsing logs, consultation history, and service context, we keep records for reasonable operational periods and continue tightening minimization practices over time.

Your choices

If you later want us to correct or delete information that you voluntarily shared, you can request that through the official contact channels once they are publicly available.

Some records may still need to be retained for legal, accounting, security, or audit reasons within a reasonable or required period.

Updates and contact

This page is a launch-ready v1 summary and will evolve as formal checkout, community, and support entry points go live.

If the underlying privacy boundary changes in a material way, we will update the date on this page and align the surrounding public documentation accordingly.

This notice establishes the current operating boundary and does not replace a later fully reviewed legal version.
